How to Set Up

Connect Housing.com

Go to CRM, click Connect, then select Housing.com.

Choose a sync method

Pick Fetch Leads Automatically (User ID and API key, every 15 minutes) or Receive Leads Instantly (Webhook).

Configure credentials

For automatic fetching, enter your Housing.com User ID and API key. For webhook mode, copy the Webhook URL from the Credentials tab and send the ready-made email from the Email Template tab to the Housing.com team.

Connect

For automatic fetching, click Connect to validate your credentials; enquiries from the last 24 hours are imported right away. Webhook mode has no Connect button and turns Connected when the first lead arrives.

Fetch old leads (optional)

In Debug mode, set a date range of up to 2 days and click "Fetch Leads from Housing.com".

What it does
  • Supports webhook delivery for receiving Housing.com enquiries instantly, with a unique webhook URL for each sales team.
  • Supports User ID and API-key based fetching on the scheduled 15-minute cron job.
  • Validates your User ID and API key when you click Connect, and imports enquiries from the last 24 hours.
  • Provides a ready-to-send email template with your webhook URL for the Housing.com team.
  • Shows the connection as Connected or Disconnected on the Sales Team record.
What it doesn't do
  • API-key based fetching is not real-time; scheduled fetching runs every 15 minutes.
  • Does not configure the Webhook URL inside Housing.com for you; you send the email template and Housing.com sets it up.
  • Uses one sync mode at a time per sales team; switching modes resets the status to Disconnected.
  • Ignores webhook requests while the sales team is set to automatic fetching.

What it does
  • Creates an Odoo CRM lead for each new Housing.com enquiry, using the enquirer's name as the lead name.
  • Maps enquiry details including name, email, phone, locality and city.
  • Adds a detailed description with the inquiry time, service type, category, location, sender details, property requirement, project details, and area and price range.
  • Stores a reference built from the flat or project ID and the enquirer's phone number.
  • Assigns incoming leads to the connected Sales Team and its salesperson, with Housing.com set as the source and medium.
  • Skips duplicates, so the same person enquiring about the same flat or project is not created twice.
What it doesn't do
  • One-way only: receives leads from Housing.com, never pushes data back.
  • Doesn't update an existing lead if the same enquiry is received again.
  • Doesn't map company, state or country on the lead.

What it does
  • Lets you fetch historical Housing.com leads for a selected date range on demand.
  • Limits a single historical fetch to a maximum of 2 days.
  • Confirms the result with a "leads created successfully" message, or a notice when no new leads are found.
  • Shows the enquiry time in the lead description in the timezone of the user who connected Housing.com.
  • Marks the account Disconnected if Housing.com reports unauthorized access.
What it doesn't do
  • Historical leads are not fetched automatically; use Debug mode and the fetch action.
  • A single historical fetch cannot cover more than 2 days.
  • Historical fetch is available only in automatic fetching mode, once the account is Connected.
