Odoo CRM is installed
The CRM app is active in your Odoo database.
You have an active platform account
Your account with the lead source is up and running.
You have admin access in Odoo
You can change CRM settings and sales teams.
Have your platform details ready
Depending on the lead source, this can be an API key, a username and password, or a webhook URL that you share with the platform.
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. You connect each lead source separately, and each connection has its own
sales team in Odoo CRM, so leads are assigned to that team and its salesperson.
With a webhook, the platform sends each enquiry to Odoo as it is received. With
an API sync, Odoo fetches new leads on a schedule, every 15 minutes. The options
available depend on the platform, and each integration page explains the setup.
For platforms that Odoo fetches through an API, you can fetch historical leads
for a date range in Debug mode, and the allowed range depends on the platform.
Webhook-only platforms such as JustDial don't import old leads.
